Mail!

Who doesn't LOVE when that door bell rings and you get an unexpected package at your front door? Well that happened TWO times this week at the Cowart house... except neither of the packages were for us.... they were BOTH for CAMDEN... he sure is one loved little boy!

On Monday I came home to this.....

This is from my sweet cousins up in Greenville, NC who are also expecting, just a few days behind us! We get to find out what Baby Warren will be March 8th and I cant wait! They sent us this because baby Warren has the same one, so even thought they will be far away, they will always be friends with their sweet elephants!

On Wednesday, the doorbell rang and I found this at the door.....

Another package addressed to Camden and inside, from his wonderful Aunt Amanda was.....

This adorable hooded towel! Aunt Amanda says it is for our beach trips that we will be taking together, since she will be moving to Destin (only 1 1/2 hours away!!!)  the fall!! He is going to love it! 

Also while we were in Birmingham two of our other friends gave Camden some surprises! I don't have a picture of what Katie gave him ( I will get one when he wears it) and my sweet Morgan got Camden this...

He is already monogrammed out/spoiled rotten.. I cant even count the many outfits that his Birdie (my mom) and his GiGi (Jordan's mom) have gotten him!! We are very lucky to have such wonderful and supportive family and friends! 

Whitney & Blake

Whitney has been one of my best friends since my first few months of college and she is getting married May 18th ( my birthday) to her love Blake! If I have to share my birthday with anyone I am glad its them!  This past weekend Jordan and I packed up and headed to Birmingham for their couples shower that we helped host! The shower was at a bar in downtown Birmingham called Pale Eddies.I really wish I had taken more pictures, but I had Whitney send me a few and I have some not so good cell phone pictures that I took before the party started!

I had so much fun getting to see all of these girls that I miss so much! It feels like we were just in college yesterday... has it really been almost 5 years?! 

I am so excited that Whitney has found her sweet Blakey and I cant wait for their wedding in a few short months!! 

It's A.....

BOY!!!!

I still cannot believe it! We are so excited! I have to say I am a little bit still in shock, because I JUST KNEW it was a girl! HA, he sure fooled me! Jordan is already planning his baseball career! To say he is excited would be an understatement! We already had  a boy and girl name picked out, which I was glad about because now I feel like he is a little person that I CANNOT wait to meet!

Camden Thomas Cowart, is the name that our sweet boy will have! Jordan come up with the name Camden all on his own and there was NO turning back, he loved it, so it stuck. Thomas is my Daddy's name and I always knew that if I ever had a boy, he would be named after him.

We had the best experience finding out the gender. I heard about the place we went - The Prenatal Experience from a few friends and now I must say I HIGHLY recommend it. It was so great having both of our families there with us to find out.

Jordan and I are SO lucky to have such a wonderful and supportive family, we are so glad they could be there with us yesterday! Thanks to my mom for the signs and balloons! 

Now let the nursery decorating and shopping BEGIN!!

Baby Cowart

Hubby and I are so excited to welcome our first little miracle, July 23rd!! I am 15 weeks and 3 days, today! So I am past my first trimester, which for most is the worst, hopefully it was mine too. Even though I wasn't throwing up every minute, I felt like I wanted to 90% of the time. Almost any food smell, about sent me over the edge, BLAH! My bed time was about 7:00 pm each night because after pouring out my energy into my 20 sweet Kindergartners all day, I was done! I am finally starting to get my energy back and can stay up to about 9:00 pm!!

Since I am instant gratification kind of girl, the SECOND I knew I could find out what the gender of the baby was at 15 weeks, I had to find a way to find out ASAP! My doctor does the gender ultrasound at 20 weeks... 20 WEEKS... are you kidding!! Doesn't he know I have a nursery to do, things to get monogrammed?  So after some research and talking with a few friends I found a place called The Prenatal Experience  that lets you do a gender reveal as early as 15 weeks. I decided to wait one week longer, just to make sure that there is no mistakes in figuring out what our little "pea" is! So the date is set, THIS Tuesday at 6:30! We also get to invite up to six people to come in and watch the baby's ultrasound on a big screen, and we will all get to find out together. My parents, Jordan's parents and our sisters will all get to be there! To say I am excited is an understatement, I have been counting down the days!! I am crossing my  fingers for a little bow girl, and Jordan has visions of baseball practice and football throwing, but either way as long as the pea is healthy we will be happy with either!

Third Time Is a Charm, Right?

Yep, it's true, this is my THIRD attempt at keeping up with a blog! I said when I got married I would start one, FAIL. Maybe when we buy a house and get all settled, FAIL! But now since we have a REAL reason (another blog to come) to start one, I am more determined than EVER to keep this one going.... we will see how it goes! I am hoping I keep up with it because I am such a blog stalker myself !
